Iris and Halley from Canada decided to do their pre-wedding photoshoot in Taiwan, but what was different for them was that they also did a family photoshoot with us before their pre-wedding shoot! Being foreigners, they were skeptical about travelling to Taiwan to get their pre-wedding photos, but our team and our skilled photographer, Star, got them all covered! The family photoshoot turned out to be extremely adorable for Iris and Halley’s family! Dressed in their Totoro hoodies, the family showed off their fun and loving side during the shoot. What a cute family! A throwback to the old and simple times While shooting at 321 Alley, which is a Taiwanese Old Housing Estate, we unexpectedly found some abandoned old buses. The couple did a shoot with the buses as a backdrop and it turned out to be amazing, as it gave off a retro vibe for the shoot. Halley’s bowtie perfectly matched Iris’ pastel rainbow dress, and these pop of colours spiced up the retro vibes of the photos. The old-looking houses at 321 Alley also made everyone feel as though they had travelled back in time, and the quaint little houses in the background perfectly encapsulated the simple love that Iris and Halley shared. Traditional and retro Aligned with the retro vibe, Iris is decked in a green cheongsam while Halley is decked in a checkered shirt. We also booked a Japanese styled restaurant for them to have an indoor shoot, and the wooden theme of the restaurant fitted Iris and Halley’s outfit perfectly! Apart from the Japanese restaurant, the couple also roamed around the PingAn Traditional Street, and we are glad to be able to capture the fun that they had while walking down the streets. She forgot her props! The couple also took some shots at the beach and they look absolutely lovely! Iris is also a really sweet girl who even specially prepared her own props for the shoot! Unfortunately, she forgot to bring it along for the shoot. Not wanting her effort to be wasted, the team went back to the hotel with Iris and Halley to snap a couple of photos of them with their handmade props! Don’t they look cute with their handmade props?
