It’s beautiful to see the matrimony of a couple from two different cultures. Shirelle and her bridesmaid were all dressed up in traditional Indian costumes. It was a bright and colourful sight and they look gorgeous. The fusion of Western and Indian wedding elements is so inspiring! Brian’s mum joined the fun and don the Indian sari dress too! The center stage of the wedding features a stage fully decorated with roses and romantic chandeliers.

I had a crush on him since my freshman year when he used to wear goofy hipster glasses. My friends thought it was funny that I went on a date with Brian – he was pretty eccentric in college, but I knew that we had a connection.

Brian and Shirelle first met during their days in the University of Texas, in Austin. It wasn’t after a few years did Brian ask her out for a first date. Brian proposed 8 years later, back in Austin at the Capitol building near campus. It was a spot when they both used to walk around the grounds at night and talk. Also where they first said “I love you” to each other. It was a cold winter night and they were bundled up blankets on a horse-drawn carriage, a romantic and intimate moment.

“Our wedding was truly magical. We were so lucky to have guests travel from the USA, Australia, UK, Hong Kong, India, and Indonesia to celebrate our union. The venues were breathtaking and everyone was in pure vacation mode, which made for great dance parties. The Innaz team went above and beyond to make my ideas a reality and the decor was splendid. I’ll never forget the rose-covered backdrop for our ceremony and the sunset that evening. Brian and I could not have dreamed of a better celebration and wish we were back in Bali now!”
