How They Met

A mutual friend decided to set them up as a joke by adding them into a group chat and leaving suddenly. Unexpectedly, Lyn and GJ continued to chat and their online friendship eventually moved offline and their relationship blossomed from there!

Who would have thought that such a random prank like this could just be the “push” needed to bring two people together!

“Chinatown! It has all the essence of Bangkok – the traffic, people, sights and sounds. Thailand people are really nice.

They didn’t mind if we stood in front of their shops or pretended to queue in line to order their food to get a more natural shot. One of the store keeper even told me to be careful before I walked off as GJ was stepping on my dress!”

What do you love about each other?

Lyn: Honestly, GJ is the most unromantic person I have ever known. He has never given me any present apart from the engagement ring, nor said anything sweet to me. He is also very meticulous towards things I like or dislike. Most importantly, he isn’t pretentious. He genuinely cares, loves and shows me his true emotions & behaviour, which I think it’s the most important thing for a lasting relationship.

GJ: Why I love Lyn? She’s probably the most straight forward girl I have ever known. No mind games, just good communication. Also, she takes really good care of me, she even came to see me late at night when I was hospitalised for my sickness! My work needs me to wake up early and she wakes up with me to make coffee for me. That’s the best love for me.

Awwwww it’s really the little things that mean the most.
