Big Ben Renovating? Here Are The Next Best Spots for London Pre-Wedding Photoshoot

Big Ben of London is under construction until 2020?! This is a rather tragic occurrence for many tourists because it is such an iconic structure and taking a picture with our favourite Ben is in everyone’s bucket list!

Now, before you start panicking and calling the various airlines to cancel your air ticket, we have some equally beautiful alternatives for you.

London is a stunning city and there are many other picture worthy spots that will steal your heart!

1. Palace Of Westminster

This is actually quite a cheat because it is exactly where Big Ben is located. However, this place is called a palace for a reason, it is HUGE. If you position yourself right with some help from a professional photographer’s, you will still be able to capture the palace as your backdrop without including Big Ben and its (not very pretty) scaffold!

2. Westminster Abbey

Named one of the world’s greatest churches, the Westminster Abbey cannot be missed if you are on a trip to London!

It has been standing tall since the 11th century and its brilliant architecture has withstood the test of time. Thousands of tourists visit this majestic church everyday and it definitely makes a classy backdrop for your photos!

3. London Eye

This huge ferris wheel located on the South Bank of River Thames does not need introducing. It has made its appearance all over the internet because of its stunning beauty, especially in the night. There is something about a ferris wheels that seem so dreamy and the London Eye will definitely be the most magical out of all of them.

4. Tower Bridge

How can the Tower Bridge ever not be in this list right??

The Tower Bridge is the true icon of London and it has been a huge part of our childhood (London bridge is falling down~).

I don’t even have words to describe the magnificence of this bridge, you just have to see it for yourself and you simply have to take a photo here no matter what.

5. White Cliffs Of Dover

This lovely paradise is located about 1.5 hours from London city and I promise it is worth travelling the extra distance for!

When you’ve gotten enough of the gorgeous architecture in London, come enjoy the peace that nature has to offer. Its unmistakable chalky walls that look out to the sea and the refreshing grassland around the area is sure to mesmerise you.
