Beautiful yet dangerous, Iceland is known for its majestic mountains and rugged landscape, and is the perfect pre-wedding photo shoot location for couples who love to go on adventures.

For a couple who are globetrotters, it only seemed right if Erica and Enho went to Iceland to take their pre-wedding photos…

Amidst the surreal and breathtaking Icelandic nature, Erica and Enho showed us their spirit of adventure in their pre-wedding photos as they explored Thingvellir National Park and the old turf houses in Keldur.

As Rowell Photography enthused, “They didn’t mind when we asked them to stop numerous times along the road trip to pose for a photo in front of a gorgeous mountain or a breathtaking lake, or to climb up on tiny hills of soft green moss in an old lava field.”

Tips for pre-wedding photoshoot in Iceland

Inspired to have your pre-wedding photo shoot done in Iceland? We got Rowell Photography to share with us some tips!

• Plan to have your pre-wedding shoot during late April to August for the best weather.
• Iceland can be both luxurious and rugged, enjoy both aspects!
• Self drive tours are the best as you can wander at your own pace. There is so much natural beauty, and you wouldn’t want to miss it because you are on a tour bus with 50 other passengers and on a strict schedule.
• Try an Icelandic hotdog called a Pylsur, they sell them everywhere and are so very tasty. Also, try the Iceland yogurt called Skyr!
• If you take any tour, make sure you visit the Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavik as it is an absolutely stunning piece of modern architecture!
