1. Samcheong-dong
One of our favourite places for a photoshoot, this neighbourhood is full of charming boutiques with beautifully decorated shopfronts. You will also be able to spot random murals along the walls, which are popular spots for your selfies!
Located not too far away is the Bukhon Hanok Village, where you will get a glimpse of the traditional Korea since the centuries old Hanok houses are still preserved in their original form.
2. Yeonam-dong
An up and coming neighbourhood, Yeonamdong is gradually gaining popularity in its attempts to be the next post popular cafe street! This is a promising neighbourhood and we are having high hopes for them in the near future. If you are looking for a charming place that won’t be filled with the tourist crowd, give Yeonamdong a shot!
3. Insadong
A popular crafts neighbourhood, this is something different from your typical cafe street! Insadong is where you should head to if you want to soak in the traditional culture of Korea. Its shopping street is lined with olden shops and teahouses where you will spot many souvenirs and craft items that look like they were from the Joseon era!
There is also a mini shopping mall at the end of the street that sells mostly handmade crafts. The mall has an interesting architectural style where you can explore 3 storeys of shopping without climbing a single flight of stairs!
4. Hongdae
Probably the most popular neighbourhood in this list, nobody goes to Seoul without visiting Hongdae! Located in the university district, this area is always bustling with youths and is the perfect place for cafe-hopping!
The true beauty of Hongdae starts at night, when you can spot many clusters of people sitting around along the streets and enjoying the live music by the street buskers!
